Well, this is Mark Develder or mostly known as Doc.
He's a WWII-Veteran, who fought with the resistance. When in february 1945 a V-2 crashed into his house, Mark stayed some time in a American camp (not prison, a regular local base). After VE-Day, Mark left Belgium, to learn this world. With help from some American soldiers, and Major Debacker, a good friend of his, he managed to get in Equestria. The rest of his story follows later.
